I'm going to do it.
I'm going to tell Mom about the daggers, I'm sure she knows something about them. I was planning on going to the docks to investigate today as well, I don't want her to be worried about me. These daggers truly could be the key to finding Dad, and we both want to find him sooner rather than later.
Turns out knew a lot. They're a family heirloom passed down on my dad's side of the family, granting powers to the wielder. they were originally used to stop spirits from entering our world. The original Onyx Haze created the daggers from an Onyx Crystal and came to Earth to close portals from their world. He gave up his powers to live here, passing his Daggers down to generations in case any spirits returned. I guess this is where Dad got 'The Shadow Prince' story he used to tell me when I was a kid. Mom says to be careful, she doesn't want to lose me as well.
The docks are swarming with VT personnel, security guards, some board members (I think), and those new Viperbots they've got are patrolling the whole perimeter like crazy. It looks like they're working on stuff inside the warehouses, like new security tech. I see the wreck of the Expo boat, and some new sleek high-tech tank that definitely looks like it could pack a punch. It doesn't look like getting in is gonna be easy but I'll try.
Also, the daggers upgraded my bike which is cool, it's sleek, fast, and super sweet.

Snuck in, found an entrance to a warehouse, some guy in this powerful and sleek looking purple and emerald robot suit, Calling himself viper started attacking me. flying at me from across the room, then launched a barrage of missiles at me before I could respond. This warehouse rebounding the sound of the explosions,Viper tech's not gonna be happy about all this damage. I was a pretty even match, and was able to deal some heavy blows with the daggers, I was able to get away after his suit malfunctioned, i couldn't see who it really was though. He seems like he knows something, I wonder what his connection to all this is, I'll need to find him again and soon.
