Mission Log #4

At 1800 hours, there was an incident at Sunny Street park- shadowy figures, similar to those present on the night of august 21st. Identities are unknown, however when i arrived, they seemed to be after Kasey Raide, It was her birthday party. The onyx daggers were able to cut through this shadowy mist Which allowed for an opening for people to leave. Members of the raide family went through along with some of her friends from school . As I jumped through There were a multitude of these ghosts, I slashed a few with ease, but then one larger one a shade of navy with gray eyes and a black shroud charged toward me. "We're not here for you, But you're sure a pleasant surprise". I got pelted by an attack knocking me back, I jumped above him and threw my daggers at him going in for the attack, ended up clearing out some small ghosts and weakening him. That's when I saw their target as Kasey. Adam Snow and her Father Proffessor raide were trying to protect her I jumped over to help, "Get behind me and get out of here" I yelled, as another opened.
Professor raide seemed to be communicating with the ghost in purple and violet, I couldn't really make it out.He seemed to somehow be holding his own, but took the chance to get away.
Adam hesitated. "I'm not leaving her, Kase, I'm staying"
"Just go" I said
Kasey spoke up "What do you want with me, I don't know who or what you are but i'm not letting you ruin this day, Adam please go, I'm fine" as she said this, she stepped forward she pulled her fist back, winding up for a punch and delivered a blow straight to the Purple shrouded ghost's torso, I felt a large gust of wind as it blew back. On cue, I saw Adam run out taking one look back in concern for his girlfriend. Then VT showed up, was wondering when they would, they're usually pretty quick now that they have those bots. those lasers blasted through some ghosts and with some help from the onyx daggers, and Kasey's punch. the ghost were cleared and the three colorful ones decided to make an exit as their portal closed "Well, It looks like we found her, but our times up" the purple one, who I'm guessing was their leader, announced as the three returned into the violet shadow in the ground as it dissolved. "Welp gotta go" I said as I made my exit to not get caught by anyone ghost or VT. Danny Black is supposed to be at this party anyway so I'd better not show up too late. I think almost everyone had left, Kasey was tearing up, her family was consoling her.
I-I felt really bad.
