Kasey was shocked at what she found, She never knew that she could have powers. All those headaches, that "sickness" that she thought she was feeling. Was it just because of her powers was the "ghost dimension" or whatever her heard her dad call it. She was all alone in the office and felt uncomfortably calm in the dimly lit gray office space, staring at whatever it was that her dad had built for her
"Whatever!" Kasey said sighing a deep breath and yanking the items out of the case. She put on the suit it was a nice royal bluish color with a black skirt and combat boots, which fit tightly onto her with on the sides holsters for these "weather blasters" as she decided to call them. Feeling powerful and out of her stupor a little she decided to sprint towards the commotion "alright let's do this"

5:20-Lane Manor
Sam Lane was finishing dinner with his mother and was quite annoyed. The dinner was good a nice Ribeye Steak, Caesar Salad, and grilled asparagus. He was annoyed at his mother and father
"why can't I go with dad"
"this was a private matter, something important for his company"
"He wants me to take over doesn't he" Sam asked inquisitively "if so shouldn't I see what he has to do public and in private"
"It's different, he wants you safe at home, plus he'll be home soon"
"Danny and Kasey are there, Mr. Raide let them go. I don't understand why me going would be any different" Tension was starting to build in the room. Mrs. Emily Lane was truly trying to show she cared about her son and didn't think he should be going, not with what was happening. She knew her son wasn't really budging but was surprised by his last remark
"I thought you didn't really get along with those two?"
"It's complicated, we sit near each other at lunch"
"Anyways, We're trying to protect you, no one knows what could happen with those vigilantes around. Plus you don't need to worry about dad's business he's not stepping down soon." with desperation she repeated her plea "Please Samuel we're doing all of this for you "
Sam had enough "Doing this for me? I've been in a sort of house arrest since the school year started, I finally ask to go with dad, actually see what he does, and you say no! What about what I want to do?"
The butler cut in "Are you finished with dinner Samuel?"
"Yes Donovan, I'll be in my room if you need me but I'd like to be alone right now, sorry mom!"
His mother was in shock and speechless, she'd never seen Sam like this, she opened her mouth but didn't speak a word, she knew he wouldn't listen.
Back at Raide labs the fight was escalating. Silas was trying to fight whatever had possessed Joules struggling with the purplish-gray mist shroud that was using to fight him. The menacing crimson Ghost king had his eyes set on Onyx Haze.
"I never expected to meet another onyx haze so soon, I don't expect you to be as much trouble as your father, It was smart of him to leave the daggers with you"
5:23-Raide labs
Kasey had gotten back to the lab and took a second to take in the commotion, she saw the ghosts and as if it was a natural instinct pulled the "trigger" on her blaster firing something resembling a miniature tornado in the direction of the ghost king
"hmm" she said to her self "Tonight's forecast calls for strong winds" she then jumped down to the action landing next to Onyx Haze.
Danny realized what had happened and took the opening so he and Kasey could find cover, behind a tank
"Hey, You're Onyx Haze"
"Yeah, are you the girl who's party was crashed by these things?" Danny said trying to figure out if Kasey, at least he was 99% who he was talking to, realized that It was Danny under the mask.
"Oh yeah, I think they're after me and that thing...is my father?" She wasn't even so sure herself what was going on "I have a question, have you seen my friend, he's a little taller than me, black hair not too long, black sweatshirt, gray pants" an energy blast destroyed the tank and the two rolled away and fired synchronized attacks at the ghosts, aiming for the ghost king.
"Oh yeah, I sent him to get help?"
Phew, at least my cover isn't blown
great! just great! get help? Who and were hasn't everyone left?
"Alright! any plan on how to stop this all?"
"Shutting down this portal, don't know exactly how yet"
After rigging his room camera so he wouldn't be discovered and stepping into his VIPER suit, he opened the window of his room and flew out toward the direction Raide labs, Hoping no one would try and check on him.
The rain had stopped, at most it was a light drizzle, but he knew daylight was getting shorter so he knew he'd need to get in and out of the lab quickly, plus he knew his dad would be angry that he'd left the house without him knowing. "Alright here goes nothing"
